Neil Boddington was our consultant who provided the full range of project services from specification, planning application submission and managing the process to approval, project coordination of the contractors, managing the change process with us and the contractors to practical completion of the pitch.
The pitch and infrastructure changes were delivered on time and in budget despite some changes to the design to accommodate last minute neighbours comments. It was a tight fit on the site close to houses.
Neil managed the process very well to tight timescales. The carpet also was the world wide launch of the new Tiger Turf product Evo Pro which added another dimension. Neil used many skills developed over his wealth of experience of projects to manage the project through on cost, time and quality.
We opened the pitch officially on September 30th 2011 when the GB Mens and Ladies hockey squads came to Marlow to play the Club and School sides. They were very generous with their praise on the quality of the pitch.
